On the evening of Thursday September 8, a veritable who’s who of the Southern California A+D community gathered at the SmogShoppe in Los Angeles’ Culver City for evening hosted by Lumens in collaboration with Architectural Digest and Tom Dixon to celebrate 20 years of Tom Dixon Studio. Luscious greenery outfitted the LEED Platinum-Certified venue, powered entirely by solar panels, making for the perfect backdrop to the centerpiece displaying various Dixon furniture designs and three Melt pendants (including the Lumens exclusive in gold) suspended to eye level from a 20-foot tall structure giving guests an intimate look at his designs. The evening was capped off with a livestreamed conversation between Dixon and West Coast Editor of Architectural Digest, Mayer Rus.
